A hands-on LEGO® Education program designed specially for young builders aged 3–5.
Before coding robots, children need to understand how things move, connect and work.
At Cubotics Chennai, our Early Simple Machines pathway introduces young children to gears, wheels, axles, levers, pulleys and movement through guided, hands-on building.

What is Early Simple Machines?
At ages 3–5, children don't need complicated coding. They need to touch, build, move, test and discover.
Using LEGO Education learning materials, children begin exploring the simple mechanical concepts that make the world work.
LEGO Education's own Early Simple Machines lessons introduce concepts including gears, forces, levers, pivots, pulleys, motion, cause and effect and fair testing.
Why Start at 3?
At 3–5, your child is developing the exact skills that make future robotics learning possible.
Picking, connecting and manipulating pieces.
Learning to position and connect parts accurately.
Understanding size, position, movement and structure.
'What happens when I turn this gear?'
'What can I change to make it work?'
Building something independently and explaining how it works.

STEM & robotics competitions
Important: We don't promise a 3-year-old will become WRO-ready. We offer a pathway toward competitions as they progress.
The Learning Cycle
Connect the day's concept to something familiar.
Explore the LEGO pieces and understand what they do.
Create a working machine or project.
Your child tells us how their creation works.
What worked? What didn't? What could we change?
Sort, organize and prepare for the next challenge.
A 16-Session Journey
Your child progresses through a structured curriculum where each session builds on concepts introduced earlier.
By the end of the program, your child has experienced a variety of mechanisms, builds and challenges rather than simply attending disconnected activity classes.
Who Teaches Your Child?
Our sessions are designed for early learners, with trained facilitators who understand how to engage young children through hands-on exploration.
If your staff are genuinely Montessori/ECCE trained, put that prominently here — but only say "Montessori-trained and ECCE-trained" if that is true for the actual facilitators conducting these sessions.
